Sample Exercises Using BACC 99
Exercise 1 is an application of the Normal Linear Model to the
Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM). The following links provide you
with the data, suggested questions, and suggested answers.
Exercise 2 is an application of the Normal Linear Model to
what is known as the Happy Data. The following links provide you
with the data and prior specification files as well as suggested
questions and answers. The data and prior specification files
are zipped in a single file called happy.zip.
Type unzip happy.zip at your command line to extract the
individual files or use a standard unzip utility.
Exercise 3 is an application of the Normal Linear Model
(with more than one equation, i.e., SUR) to the Diewert production function.
The following links provide you with the data as well as suggested
questions and answers.
